Business morale in Germany showed an unexpected increase this month. This was due the constant growth of the German economy, increased domestic consumptions and exports. Apart from that job vacancies increased and the jobless rate decreased.

According to Clemens Fuest the CEO if Ifo, “Sentiment among German businesses is jubilant.” Moreover, the economist of Ifo added that the previous global uncertainties such as Brexit and the elections in September, did not hinder the growth of business morale.

Last and this year, the country achieved historic records with regards to growth in the economy. The commencing three months of 2017, the largest economy in Europe grew by 0.6% per quarter.

Forecasts predict that the country’s Gross Domestic Product will increase for the current and next years. Predictions show a growth of 1.5% this year and 1.6% next year.
