Unemployment in Germany hit once again record low! This shows that despite of the previous uncertainties in its surrounding, Germany is continuing to prosper.  According the Federal Labour Agency, the unemployment rate in Germany dropped once again last March to a new historic low.  The current jobless rate to date is of 5.8%, which has been the lowest level since the German unification in 1990.

The seasonal decrease has been much greater than previously forecasted or than in previous years due to a pickup in hiring. Detlef Scheele, the BA Chairman-Designate said that the demand for labour remains to be very high and that the number of vacancies increased by 57,000.
